Andreas Feininger (1906-1999) was an American lensman of German heritage innate around Paris, the boy of the painter Lyonel Feininger.

He was processed celebrated by his photo of New York City. He was the staff lensman of Life magazine.

He wrote comprehensive manuals all about photography, of which one of the better known is The Complete Photographer.
